2019: Following on from the incredible buzz surrounding Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, came Hollywood Re-Loaded, a collaboration between renowned photographer Terry O’Neill and Artist Bran Symondson, in which O’Neill’s photographs of Hollywood icons clutching on to guns, such as Michael Caine and Frank Sinatra, have been layered with Symondson’s signature bullet holes and butterflies. The aim is to alter the perception of guns and encourage conversation about the severity of gun violence and the relationship between weapons, people, and the silver screen.
